Set in the remarkable Thornybush Reserve is Saseka. Lying on the banks of the Monwana river bed, which is now dried up and acts as a perfect wildlife highway, so you can enjoy wildlife viewing not only in 4×4 vehicles but also, relaxing in your comfortable, spacious and private rooms. There are 9 luxurious rooms within Saseka, each with a fabulous view of the Thornybush Reserve.
Combining locally sourced wood and stone throughout its design, Saseka easily blends into the surrounding landscape. Although quite modern in design, their are nostalgic hints throughout the lodge.
Whilst staying at Saseka you can enjoy game drives, morning and evening to seek out the big five as well as interesting guided walks, to get you closer to the flora and fauna of the African bush. If you would like to venture further a field, you might be interested in boat cruises, hot-air balloon rides, tree canopy tours, cultural tours as well as helicopter tours – much to enjoy in and around this beautiful area.
