La Digue Island
Location: East of Praslin, North East in the Seychelles Archipelago
Climate: Hottest months are Dec – Apr, with Jul & Aug being the coolest, trade winds blow from May – Nov, and this is the most pleasant time to go as it is hot and dry, with low humidity

La Digue is the fourth largest inhabited island of the Seychelles, with a population of about 2,000 people. La Digue covers a tiny area of 10 sq km. La Digue is know for it’s exceptionally beautiful beaches, and copra and vanilla production used to make up the local economy, which has now been taken over by tourism. The Veuve nature reserve is home to the rare Black Paradise fly catcher, and many birds can be seen here.
