Lying in the middle of northern Namibia’s savannah and adjacent to the famous Etosha National Park, renowned for its abundant game viewing opportunities is Safarihoek. Surrounded by the rolling arid savannah, perching on top of kopje with views that seem to go on and on, this camp incorporates old school style and tradition with a chique twist.

With eleven chalets altogether, one family tent, eight luxury chalets and two classic styled chalets – all have en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning and a swimming pool in the main mess area, this camp is very comfortable for perhaps the first time Namibia safari goer.

Morning and afternoon game drives are regular where you can go out in search of the elusive and incredibly rare black rhino – but make sure you wrap up warm, especially in the early mornings and then again late into the evenings. Located near to Safarihoek is one of the most impressive and professional anti-poaching stations throughout all of Namibia – it is definitely worth a visit.
