Tanda Tula in the remote and wild Timabavti Reserve bordering the Kruger has always been famous for having some of the most charismatic, characterful and warm members of staff across all of their camps. You are literally made to feel part of the family from the moment you arrive. Tanda Tula are very excited to welcome a few fresh faces at Tanda Tula Safari Camp! These wonderful new team members may have just joined Tanda in official positions, but they are not strangers to the Tanda Tula family. Their commitment to keeping things within the Tanda Tula family extends to Tanda’s recruitment process, and each of the new team members has close ties with individuals already part of the Tanda Tula family. We feel that this way of recruiting is what makes the atmosphere at Tanda so good, everyone in the camps knows and loves each other, and this makes for a wonderfully jovial and inviting camp which guests can immediately slot into. The Tanda Tula team welcomes guests with wide open arms.

In other updates from Tanda : Tucked away, alongside camp dam, is a quiet haven which serves as the epitome of rejuvenation and relaxation, promising to bring harmony and tranquillity to both body and mind while you safari with them. At the heart of the Tanda Tula experience lies the quest for connection. Connection with oneself is easily achieved by indulging in a rejuvenating escape at Tanda’s newly designed spa or enjoying a workout in the recently opened, fully equipped gym!

The spa menu, thoughtfully curated to harmonize with the serenity of the wilderness, infuses a sense of peace and vibrant energy into all treatments, revitalizing and nurturing guests. Portia, the spa therapist, has a gentle nature, her serene demeanour contributes to the creation of a genuinely peaceful environment for guests to unwind.

Adjacent to the spa, a fully equipped gym awaits, offering panoramic views of the camp dam and the surrounding bush. This allows visitors to stay connected with the wildlife as they engage in their workout routine.

Tanda Tula Safari Camp was recently redesigned from top to bottom and is now one of the Kruger’s most luxurious safari properties – when you combine this with their location in a more private and less travelled private conservancy, the friendly team, exceptional guides, gourmet food and more it becomes a pretty unbeatable safari destination.

Based on all of the above, it won’t come as any surprise that you need to book this camp well in advance – it really does get full very quickly, as it’s still a very small camp. In an ideal world you’d contact us about your South African safari 18 months in advance but we are realistic, and know that’s not always possible so will always try and make a plan for you.

Just to top it all off, if you can find space at Tanda you can stay longer for less at Tanda Tula and spend time building on your connections and enjoying some well-deserved time in the spa (or gym!) with their book 4 nights but only pay for 3 special offer.
