Exciting news for photographers, both experienced and those passionate beginners, our friends at Saruni are leading the way in African wildlife photography. Their new photographic elephant-proof Hide (the first of its kind in Kenya) is available to guests from July 1st 2016. Buried underground and covered with earth on three sides the hide is located a few steps from a waterhole, disguised with Samburu red earth and covered with shrubs and bushes it is the perfect spot to ‘steal’ images of the well frequented waterhole. Coinciding with the opening of the hide is the Kenya Photo Camp led by National Geographic Creative Photographer, Sergio Pitamitz, this 8 night 9 day journey promises to be a once in a lifetime trip for those wanting to take their photography to the next level whilst experiencing three of Saruni’s exceptional lodges, Saruni Samburu, Saruni Mara and Saruni Wild.
This summer sees a return to Saruni’s competition #whyilovesaruni where guests share their memorable and often breathtaking photographs, if this doesn’t whet your appetite nothing will!
With current offers including stay 6 nights pay for 5 and Honeymoon specials and Kenya’s popularity as a destination enjoying a surge now is the time to visit one of Saruni’s luxurious lodges, in our opinion they are amongst the best in Africa. Saruni Samburu with its magical villa style rooms built into the rock offering outstanding views, Saruni Wild a remote tented camp where the wildlife reacts as it should and you will not see another vehicle and Saruni Mara living in harmony with the Masai warriors with all the luxury, style and comfort Saruni is famous for.
