Liuwa Plains is a recovering park which offers arguably the most beautiful plains in Africa – there are no people, walking, day and night drives and the second largest wildebeest migration in Africa. The hyena viewing here is fantastic – we followed a pack of hyena hunting and saw them bringing down a wildebeest. It was thrilling! Walking here is also fantastic, bumping into the lions was a bonus and we had a relaxed and peaceful encounter with them. This park is set to have one of the most luxurious lodges in Africa opened in 2017, we can’t wait!
