Mahe Island
Location: North East of the Seychelles Archipelago
Climate: Hottest months are Dec – Apr, with Jul & Aug being the coolest, trade winds blow from May – Nov, and this is the most pleasant time to go as it is hot and dry, with low humidity

Mahe is the largest island of the Seychelles, covering 155 sq km, and containing the capital of Victoria. Mahe will be the starting point of any Seychelles holiday, with excellent light aircraft connections out of Mahe international airport, to the surrounding islands. The Southern part of Mahe is home to the Baie Ternay Marine National Park, and Port Launay Marine National Park. Offshore are the mesmerizingly beautiful Sainte Anne Marine National Park, Conception Island, Therese Island, Anonyme Island and Silhouette Island.
Mahe’s forests boast rare endemic plants such as the carnivorous Seychelles Pitcher plant, and many species of unique orchids.
