Shakti Leti 360
What we love: the location of this mountain hideaway.
The journey here may be long, but Shakti 360 offers something extraordinary in this remote part of North Western India. Just 4 futuristic glass wood and stone cabins set in a landscape to take your breath away. The location is so remote that the only way to get here involves a one hour walk along narrow paths with porters carrying your luggage, but you are guaranteed the warmest of welcomes on arrival. The stunning cabins have two glass walls maximizing the view and are furnished with hand made bespoke furniture. Enormous beds are placed so that guests can star watch at night, see the sun rise over the snow capped mountains or the sun set over the Himalayas. Wood burning stoves will keep the rooms warm in the winter months and the views have not been forgotten in the luxurious bathrooms either. Return to your cabin after dinner and star gaze by your camp fire. The Tibetan chef here is brilliant and ingredients are grown in the on site organic greenhouse with meats being supplied by local farmers. Breakfasts and lunches are served on individual tables, but dinner is a social affair at a candlelit table and a log fire. Private dining can be arranged and picnic lunches are a speciality here set up in stunning locations. Most guests come here for the walking and there are so many different options including a longer trek with an overnight camping stay. There is a minimum 3 night stay policy here and whether you come for an active stay or a relaxing one, Shakti 360 is unlike anywhere else in the world.
