Now for the information about the places you will be staying. The Cape Grace is where you will start your trip. One of the best hotels in the stunning capital of South Africa, Cape Town, The Cape Grace is situated on a very private quay between Cape Town’s bustling V&A Waterfront and the tranquil yet beautiful yacht marina. There is no better position from where to soak in the natural beauty of the ‘Mother City’ and the very essence of Cape Town living at its best. The chef who will be dishing up these culinary delights is Malika Van Reenen, a third generation Cape Malay cook, who owes her love for the kitchen to her grandmother, who handed down traditional culinary tips and tricks to her throughout her childhood. Malika turns everything she touches into a culinary delight and she loves nothing better than getting friends and family to sample all of her new, delicious creations.
A short plane hop across the border to Botswana, and then onto a smaller plane to eventually land into the magnificent Okavango Delta. You will be staying at the immensely glamourous Duba Plains which prides itself on its wildlife experiences and intimate exposure to all kinds of fabulous creatures, from lions and leopards to elephants, lechwe, buffalo and everything in between. Duba Plains is also known for their spectacular Kalahari species such as the aardwolf and endangered pangolin. Your fabulous host at Duba Plains will be Isaac Seredile. Isaac was born and raised in the Okavango Delta, in a small village called Jedibe, located deep in the heartland of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. Isaac’s life and passion encompasses conserving wildlife and natural habitats and sharing incredible wildlife moments and his local knowledge with his guests.
